Upcoming film “Sinkhole” (literal title) released its thrilling first teaser!
“Sinkhole” is a disaster comedy film about Park Dong Won (Kim Sung Kyun), who finally buys a house after 11 years, only to have it fall into a sinkhole in a matter of minutes. He must discover a way out of the sinkhole with his neighbor Jung Man Soo (Cha Seung Won) and his guests before the sinkhole fills with water.
The teaser begins with an emergency news briefing on a massive sinkhole that has appeared in the heart of Seoul. Cars, telephone poles, and even a whole apartment are readily swallowed by the sinkhole.
Park Dong Won, Jung Man Soo, Deputy Kim (Lee Kwang Soo), and Intern Eun Joo (Kim Hye Joon), who were having a normal day, get swept up in the crisis when their flat falls under the sinkhole. “I suppose we’ve dropped roughly 500 meters (about 1640 feet) down,” Jung Man Soo says. The four people on top of the building wave flashlights and plead, “Please save us!”
Despite the fact that they can’t see out the deep hole, it appears that disaster has struck outside as well, with explosions and smoke everywhere. Park Dong Won, who is trapped under the pit, asks, “Have you seen anything like this?” The four people glance up, astonished, to see a damaged building dangling precariously above them.
