There are many k-dramas that we LOVE and were obsessed with, BUT if we are asked to watch it now, we would cringe! ILoveKStars will list 4 k-dramas that will be major throwbacks!
Boys over Flowers (2009)
There are 4 cute, wealthy boys attending Shinhwa High School which the main character Geum Jan Di somehow ends up attending. * surprise* These 4 boys are named as F4 – the most popular boys in the school.
As Geum Jan Di steps into this mess, her school life goes miserable, and gets bullied by a different group of people – yet slowly F4 guys slowly show her affection. But ultimately it’s a major cringe, but cute story of high school teen-love overall!
My Love From the Star (2013)
Min-Joon who is an ‘alien’ has a superpower like teleporting, stopping time, controlling through his mind, and more. As he meets Song-Yi (the female main character), he tried to stay away from her and revealed his true identity. Yet she still stayed on his side.
The story basically shows their journey together, as they fight for the time for Min-Joon to stay on Earth with her!
Dream High (2011)
This drama takes place at an art high school. Song Sam Dong who is a country boy happens to fall in love with Ko Hye Min (Suzy) which makes him also attend the same school as her. Then he meets all kinds of talented friends in the school – they all work hard to achieve their dreams to become music stars. The actors were: Kim SooHyun, Suzy, Taecyeon, Eunjung, Wooyoung, and IU.
It’s a happy ending, where all these friends discover their own happy endings! And with this drama – they also had Dream High 2 with new characters.
Coffee Prince (2007)
Go Eun Chan, the main character, is supporting her family financially with multiple part-time jobs. Because of the way she dressed and her hair, Han Kyul (Gong-Yoo) mistook her as a young man and hires her. As the drama flows, Han Kyul gets confused with his feelings towards this new employee he hired.
