ZE:Kwanghee, A’s 2PM’s Wooyoung, MONSTA X’s Minhyuk, and (G)I-Miyeon DLE’s appeared as guests on tvN’s “Amazing Saturday” on August 7. This week’s edition featured a “music show MC” special, with guests who have worked as MCs on music shows in the past or are currently doing so.
Kwanghee revealed during the broadcast that he has one of the longest records as a music show MC. He was an MC for 29 months, which was longer than SHINee’s Key’s 28 months.
When asked who he thought was the best MC he’d ever met, Kwanghee said IU. Between 2012 and 2013, Kwanghee and IU collaborated as MCs on SBS’s “Inkigayo.”
“Reviewing the script is really vital for music show MCs,” he remarked. “However, I would be too preoccupied with welcoming singers like G-Dragon, Girls’ Generation, and SHINee to read the script. Even my own lines were remembered by IU, who assisted me when I made mistakes. She would also repair it for me if I held my mic backwards.”
