The upcoming Netflix film “The 8th Night” has shared new stills of its cast.
The eight-day struggle against the “spirit that must not be awakened” that will cause the world to descend into hell once it has passed the “seven footbridges” is depicted in “The 8th Night,” a mystery suspense horror thriller. It is directed by Kim Tae Hyung, a newbie to the industry.
Jin Soo, played by Lee Sung Min, was born with the destiny of stopping the “spirit that must not be awakened” from entering the world. Cheong Seok, played by Nam Da Reum, is a young monk who seeks out Jin Soo when he learns that the spirit is going to awaken. The new stills show the two of them in a dark room with candles lit, performing a strange ceremony. Ho Tae, a police detective in the violent crimes division, is shown examining a dried-up and disfigured corpse. Park Hae Joon plays Ho Tae.
In the new stills, Kim Yoo Jung plays Ae Ran, a girl with a secret who is shown keeping a close check on Cheong Seok. In the remaining stills, Jin Soo and Cheong Seok venture into the woods to confront the enigmatic monster and prevent it from intruding into their world and creating devastation.
