Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yura From Girl’s Day, and Yoon Park Are All Confirmed For a New Romantic Drama.

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Cruel Story of Office Romance” (literal translation) has confirmed its starring cast!

“Cruel Story of Office Romance” is a new drama about the work and love lives of employees at Korea Meteorological Administration, the country’s official weather forecast service.

Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yura from Girl’s Day, and Yoon Park were all confirmed to star in the upcoming drama, which will be directed by Cha Young Hoon, who previously directed “When the Camellia Blooms.”

Park Min Young will play the icy Jin Ha Kyung, a bright and well-organized woman who follows the rules and is meticulous about keeping her personal and work lives apart. She has few friends at work because of her icy personality, and she has chosen to be a “outsider.”

Meanwhile, Song Kang will play Lee Si Woo, a free-spirited individual who is constantly thinking outside the box. Despite his clumsiness, he has an astounding IQ of 150 and can accomplish anything if he sets his mind to it. Despite his education and ability, he is just concerned with the weather.

Han Ki Joon, an attractive and quick-witted figure with a silver tongue, will be played by Yoon Park. After suffering in the early days of his work at the service, Han Ki Joon is finally scouted by the spokeperson’s office, thanks to his impressive persuading skills. He, on the other hand, has a difficult time dealing with failure because he has spent his entire life as a good student.

Finally, Yura will take on the role of Chae Yoo Jin, a daily weather reporter. Chae Yoo Jin was eventually assigned to the “weather and leisure team,” despite her great expectations of breaking news, exciting scoops, and on-site reports when she started her employment.

Although she was initially dissatisfied with the project, she gradually grew fond of it.

The filming of “Cruel Story of Office Romance” will begin this summer, with a debut date set for early next year.
