Last night, MBN’s “Bossam: Steal the Fate” and JTBC’s “Undercover” both hit new highs!
The third episode of Jung Il Woo and Girls’ Generation’s Yuri’s latest historical drama “Bossam: Steal the Fate” had the highest viewing ratings yet on May 8. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama’s most recent broadcast received an overall nationwide rating of 4.6 percent, a new high for the season.
The latest episode of JTBC’s revival of the BBC series “Undercover” has set a new all-time record, with an overall national rating of 4.2 percent.
Meanwhile, tvN’s latest drama “Mine” got off to a good start with a 6.6 percent average nationwide rating for its first episode. The show, starring Lee Bo Young and Kim Seo Hyung, did much better in Seoul, where it received an average of 7.9% and the sixth-highest premiere ratings of any weekend drama in tvN history.
SBS’s “Taxi Driver” managed to remain the most-watched miniseries of not only the weekend but the whole week on the public broadcast network. The most recent episode of the hit drama received average national ratings of 10.1 percent and 15.4 percent for its two segments, respectively, and peaked at 18.6 percent, a new high for the hit drama.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Revolutionary Sisters” maintained its position as the most-watched show on any channel on Saturday, with overall national ratings of 20.2 percent and 25.9% for both portions.
