COVID-19 has been diagnosed in Shin Sung Rok.
Shin Sung Rok tested negative for COVID-19 on April 24 after his musical co-star Son Jun Ho tested positive.
Shin Sung Rok noticed a difference in his health when self-quarantining after the negative outcome and asked to be screened again. On April 28, the actor’s agency, HB Entertainment, announced that he had tested positive and was being treated at a treatment facility.
“We apologize for causing confusion to many people,” the organization said. As his department, we will do everything possible to ensure Shin Sung Rok’s good treatment and discharge from the facility.”
Shin Sung Rok will continue filming with Lee Seung Gi, Cha Eun Woo, Yang Se Hyung, and Kim Dong Hyun on “Master in the House,” in which he is a regular cast member.
“Shin Sung Rok came into contact with the reported case after filming for ‘Master in the House,’ so filming will proceed as planned,” a source for the show said.
