Netflix Releases Airing Date For Film’Sweet & Sour’ Starring Krystal Jung, Jang Ki Young, and Chae Soo Bin

Sweet & Sour, a new romantic film from Netflix, will be released worldwide on June 4, 2021. The film follows three young people through a true story of modern romance. The seemingly contradictory title alludes not only to the sweet beginnings of love, but also to its bitter end, which will inevitably come with time. Jang Ki-yong, Chae Soo-bin, and Krystal Jung are among the emerging stars in Sweet & Sour’s cast.

Jang Ki-yong plays Jang Hyeok, a very “true man” boyfriend who has steadily risen to fame across genres thanks to roles in Search WWW, The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos, and this May’s My Roommate is a Gumiho.

As he progresses from a nice guy at the start of the relationship to an unresponsive one, his unfiltered depiction of the realistic boyfriend will quicken viewers’ pulses with infatuation and anger.

Chae Soo-bin, who established herself as a big next-gen rom-com star with roles in I’m Not a Robot, Where Stars Land, and A Piece of Your Mind, plays Jang Hyeok’s lovely girlfriend Da-eun. Her character Da-eun, who is unhappy with both her work as a nurse and her love life, would resonate with many young viewers.

Krystal Jung plays Bo-yeong, the woman Jang Hyeok meets via his work assignment with his big-name corporate employer. Jung transforms Bo-yeong into an intriguing character in a love-hate relationship with Jang Hyeok as they collaborate and compete for the same permanent role at the company, displaying a different kind of charm than her usual chic image.

The chemistry between actors Jang Ki-yong, Chae Soo-bin, and Krystal Jung adds to director Lee Gae-new byok’s and amusing take on this realistic love story. Sweet & Sour will be available on Netflix worldwide on June 4th.
