After a staff member tested positive for COVID-19, BamBam’s agency, Abyss Company, released a statement on BamBam’s schedule.
In a post on the web V Live on April 12, Abyss Company wrote:
“
Hello, this is Abyss Company.
On April 8, one of the company’s staff went to the hospital after having cold symptoms and was checked for COVID-19 on the doctor’s recommendation. The result was determined to be positive on April 9th morning.
The positive test was instantly conveyed to everyone in the group. All other staff who came into contact with the reported occurrence, including our artist BamBam, were pre-emptively screened for COVID-19, and all were found to be negative on April 10.
Employees who have been classified as close contacts of the confirmed case, including BamBam, have undergone self-quarantine, according to an epidemiological survey conducted by disease control authorities.
We have cancelled all of our artist’s planned activities to ensure his wellbeing, and we will diligently follow all future orders from the authorities.
We apologise for raising confusion among his fans. We will do all we can as a company to ensure the health and welfare of our artists.
Thank you.
