“River Where the Moon Rises” just had a quick transition!
On March 5, it was announced that Ji Soo will be leaving the drama due to recent allegations of school abuse, and that Na In Woo would take over the role of On Dal. Na In Woo would first feature in episode 9, and scenes featuring On Dal from episodes 7 and 8 would be cut out as much as possible.
However, in order to optimize the drama’s consistency, the production team and actors worked quickly to have Na In Woo appear much sooner than anticipated.
Na In Woo’s appearance in episode 7 is hinted in the stills released on March 8.
Na In Woo has perfectly transformed into On Dal, with his messy hair and soft smile, and he also has good chemistry with Lady Sa (Hwang Young Hee), the character’s mother-like figure.

A third picture depicts On Dal in a totally different and charismatic light, with clean clothes and hair and a stern look on his face.

“Na In Woo’s appearance has been pushed forward earlier in order to offer the audience a better quality drama,” the production team explained. “We are grateful to the other actors and crew members who have worked together as a team to make this happen. We ask that you look forward to episode 7 with anticipation for On Dal, who caused everyone on set to shout, ‘It’s On Dal,’ the moment he appeared on camera in costume”
On March 8, at 9:30 p.m. KST, the seventh episode of “River Where the Moon Rises” will air.
