Lee Jae Wook and Park Gyu Young could be joining in a new drama!
An industry representativereported on January 25 that the two actors will be starring in the upcoming KBS drama “Dal Li and Gamja-tang (romanized title).
VAST Entertainment which houses Lee Jae Wook replied with respect to the article, “It is one of the projects he was offered,” While Saram Entertainment’s Park Gyu Young agency commented, “She received a casting offer and is reviewing it positively.”
The drama is about the unlikely relationship that happens when Jin Mu Hak attempts to rob Kim Dal Li from an art museum.
The drama is about the unexpected romance that arises. The role of Kim Dal Li, who was a visiting researcher at the Kröller-Müller Museum and then became director of the Chungsong Art Museum, was offered to Park Gyu Young. She is a character who is often classy and considerate in terms of expression and behavior. Dal Li likes to research different fields, such as literature, philosophy, and religion and she is proficient in seven languages.
The role of Jin Mu Hak, whose family developed a tiny gamja-tang (spicy pork back bone stew) restaurant into the global food corporation DonDon F&B, was offered to Lee Jae Wook. While he is a company director, when he was at school, he is far from intelligent and was always ranked last in his class.
“Dal Li and Gamja-tang” will be written by Son Eun Hye, who previously created “Witch’s Love,” along with Park Se Eun, and it will be directed by Lee Jung Sub.
