The first trailer for Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won’s forthcoming drama “One Ordinary Day” (formerly known as “That Night”) has been released!
“One Ordinary Day,” an adaptation of BBC’s “Criminal Justice,” will feature Kim Soo Hyun as Kim Hyun Soo, a regular college student whose life is flipped upside down when he becomes the lead suspect in a murder investigation. Shin Joong Han, played by Cha Seung Won, is a lawyer who barely passed the bar exam and is the only one who reaches out to Kim Hyun Soo for help—while never questioning him about the truth of what occurred that fateful night.
Kim Hyun Soo is plunged in darkness as he travels through the shadows in jail in the newly released teaser. “Thinking back on it, I thought I saw a finger move,” he adds in voice-over as he walks towards the light.
Shin Joong Han, meanwhile, plows through a sea of media as he prepares to fight for Kim Hyun Soo.
“‘One Ordinary Day’ is a criminal drama that will be portrayed from a new and refreshing viewpoint,” the show’s creators said. We are confident that it will send a powerful message to viewers and that it will stay with them for a long time. Please demonstrate a lot of attention and excitement leading up to the premiere.”
Coupang Play will release “One Ordinary Day” in November.
