Girls’ Generation gathered for the first time in four years as a whole TV group!
The 8 members of Girl’s Generation joined together to make a special guest appearance on the show on the first September edition of TVN’s “You Are on the Block.”
While the members routinely meet to hang out in real life, they have admitted that bringing everybody together for the program was not simple, and have revealed that Sooyoung and Tiffany have taken the lead in convincing others to agree.
Yuri humorously remembered, “I said that we were celebrating our 15th anniversary and why do something for our 14th since it’s a great occasion? But I heard it was ‘You Quiz,’ so I responded ‘Oh, ‘You Quiz?’ We must go then.'”
In the meantime, YoonA said that the night before the members had made a pledge to each other, “When we present our group as a girls’ generation, try not to cry.”

Some of the members spoke later in the program when they experienced an age gap with younger performers.
‘They’ll talk about old variety programs and remark ‘I truly wish I could’ve been to that show,”‘ said YoonA’ when I chat to junior artists. ‘And to myself I’m going to think, ‘But I did the show in fact.’ On one hand I will like to brag about, but I will also think, ‘As soon as I say this, you will realize how long I work in the industry.'” I’ll say this.
And he said to me, “When the younger songs say to me, ‘My mom was a great admirer of the generation of girls,’ it makes me worry, “How are our generations going together?””
“I read an on-line message which said ‘Girls’ Generation’s slim jeans [from ‘Gee’] are the clothes my mum used to wear,’ as she continued with a moaning. ‘Was it so long,’ I wondered to myself?'”

Also during their promotional campaigns, Girls’ Generation remembered a few of the busiest times.
“When we travelled to Australia, what I remember most is for me,” Sunny remarked. “We took a 12-hour travel early in the morning and performed there and caught a midnight flight back to Korea.
Yuri interjected, “At one time we also traveled to France, left that day, and flown directly from there to the United States.” “We once played in a Japanese music event at the end of 2012, and then we returned to Korea immediately and performed here at an end of the year music show. Hyoyeon added. For about two days we had straight back then wear our performance attire.”
Seohyun later recalled how stressful their schedules were: “We had to prepare so many special concerts by the end of the year. Typically there were about twenty. I recall occasionally when we came to the venue and were going to be on stage, we had to learn Choreography on the day of the performance. During the rehearsal, we had to master choreography.”
“We had been two hours aday before we learned choreography when we covered ‘U-Go-Girl,’ but we didn’t have time to learn everything about it,” Tiffany explained. “I ended up weeping while we practice, so Taeyeon interrupted. Because we had to rip it away, but I couldn’t.”
Sooyoung pointed out, “These items were continually demanded by us because we kept pulling them out.” Then she remarked playfully, “That’s why you don’t have to pull it off.”
However, she added, “When the end of the year came, I would still be afraid. But I feel a little hollow nowadays, to be honest, when the year comes to a conclusion.”

“We usually tell this, but we are always open for it.” YoonA answered with a smile.
Yoo Jae Suk said, “I think it’s the perfect moment for things to be done jointly since next year is your fifteenth anniversary. When it’s your fifteenth birthday next year.”
“I guess now, we have to do that because [Yoo Jae Suk] said so.” Sunny answered playfully.
