In the forthcoming MBC drama “From Now On, Showtime!” Jin Ki Joo will star alongside Park Hae Jin (literal title).
“From Now On, Showtime!” is a fantasy rom-com about a female police officer and a magician. Park Hae Jin will play Cha Cha Woong, a charismatic magician with the power to see and manipulate ghosts, who was previously confirmed in May.
Go Seul Hae, a passionate police officer with a strange secret, will be played by Jin Ki Joo. Go Seul Hae works hard in whatever he does in order to enter the criminal affairs division. As she becomes involved with Cha Cha Woong, the arrogant and obstinate magician, an intriguing plot begins to unfold.
Jin Ki Joo starred in the films “Little Forest” and “Midnight,” as well as the dramas “Wednesday 3:30 PM,” “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” “Come and Hug Me,” “The Secret Life of My Secretary,” and “Homemade Love Story,” after making her tvN debut in the drama “Second 20s” in 2015. Jin Ki Joo, who is well-known for her acting abilities, has been promoting her new film “Midnight” since wrapping up “Homemade Love Story” in March.
Jin Ki Joo will collaborate with Park Hae Jin for the first time on her current project, “From Now on, Showtime!” Viewers are already anticipating their teamwork as they turn into the compassionate Go Seul Hae and the fierce Cha Cha Woong to solve problems together. The one-of-a-kind encounter between a cop and a magician has piqued interest in the impending drama.
The drama is now in the final stages of casting, with a launch date set for the first half of 2022.
