Due to Health Concerns, Han So Hee Withdraws from the Film with Joo Ji Hoon, and Park Sung Woong Joins the Cast

Unfortunately, Han So Hee will be stepping down from the project with Joo Ji Hoon to focus on her health.

Han So Hee and Joo Ji Hoon had already been confirmed to participate in the upcoming film “Gentleman” (working title). Han Soo Hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, issued the following statement on August 4:

Hello. This am 9ato Entertainment, and I’m here to entertain you.

We regret to inform you that actress Han So Hee will no longer be appearing in the wavve original film “Gentleman.”

Despite her busy schedule, Han So Hee had discussed her desire to star in “Gentleman” with the film production team, but after consulting with the production team and agency, she has decided to take the time to reorganize her body and heart due to the doctor’s recommendation and judgment that she needs rest for the time being due to health reasons such as accumulated fatigue.

Despite our desire to greet fans and exhibit a new aspect of actress Han So Hee through the film “Gentleman,” we appeal for your patience as we come to the conclusion that she requires more time to display an even better side of herself.

For the time being, Han So Hee will concentrate on regaining her health, and she will greet fans with a new project that will show her in a healthy and positive light. Thank you very much.

“Han So Hee, who had taken on the character of the elite passionate prosecutor Kim Hwa Jin, will regretfully be stepping down owing to health reasons,” a source from the production team added.

In addition to Han So Hee’s departure, the film has announced that Park Sung Woong will be joining the cast. Park Sung Woong will play Kwon Do Hoon, the CEO of a law company and a former prosecutor from an affluent family. Park Sung Woong, who has already played powerful roles in films, will expertly depict an educated and evil character. The clash between Joo Ji Hoon and Park Sung Woong’s characters has already piqued the interest of viewers.

“Gentleman” is about private detective Ji Hyun Soo (Joo Ji Hoon), who is wrongfully accused of murder and becomes entangled in a huge case while attempting to clear his name. He teams up with prosecutor Kim Hwa Jin in order to clear himself of the charge within a week (formerly Han So Hee).

“We aim on closing up the final actor lineup soon, and there have been no difficulties in the production schedule,” the production team said.

“Gentleman” is slated to premiere next year.
