Song Joong Ki Will Wrap Filming in South Korea For His Film “Bogota.”

Megabox JoongAng Plus M provided an update on the crime film ‘Bogota’ on June 23rd.

‘Bogota’ is a crime thriller set in the 1990s, in which a young man in his thirties emigrates to Columbia and attempts to establish himself in a traditional market in Bogota. Kim Sung-Jae is the director of the picture.

The powerful casting lineup of Song Joong Ki, Lee Hee Jun, and Kwon Hae Hyo in ‘Bogota’ attracted a lot of attention at first. The stars are said to have resumed filming in South Korea on June 21. The ‘Bogota’ production staff and cast began filming in Colombia in January of last year, but owing to the pandemic, they had to cease all filming activities in March 2020. ‘Bogota’ expects to finish filming the remaining scenes in South Korea for around three months after rearranging the production project.

“Since it is tough to begin production, our main concern is to preserve the safety and health of all team members by following the quarantine guidelines,” the producers of “Bogota” said in response to the resumed filming. We will give it our all to make a wonderful film in a stable setting.”
