On June 28, the members of 2PM attended a press conference in light of the release of their 7th full album, ‘MUST‘!
The members of 2PM expressed their happiness at keeping their promise to their fans by making their first comeback as a group after finishing their necessary military service requirements on this day.
When asked how they have managed to stay together for nearly 14 years, the group replied, “Our relationship has a lot of strength. You need to stay in touch frequently, get together for drinks every now and again, and keep chatting about the future. You must talk it out if there is a problem or if you observe something unfavorable about another. Even those of us who were more closed off ultimately opened out, and it was only through this that we were able to stay together as a group. We can treat one another as family because we don’t take sides in disagreements and instead listen to what everyone has to say.”
Following that, member Taecyeon revealed his departure from JYP Entertainment and how, despite being managed by a different agency, he was able to make a comeback with 2PM. He revealed, “True, there aren’t many instances where an idol returns to the group after leaving the agency. It’s critical to have open conversations and to establish trust between you and the organization. Even though I’m in a different agency, I’m still treated with respect. I don’t feel like I’m no longer a member of 2PM, even if I’m no longer at JYP. Because of the members’ mutual respect, I am able to maintain my place in the group.”
Meanwhile, 2PM will be kicking off promotions with their sexy title track “Make It” later this week.
