Lee Kwang Soo Steps Down from ‘Running Man’

Lee Kwang Soo, who has been a regular cast member on SBS’s variety show “Running Guy,” will be leaving the show.

Lee Kwang Soo’s agency, King Kong by Starship, announced on April 27 that “Lee Kwang Soo would be stepping down from SBS’s ‘Running Man.’ May 24 will be his last recording from the show. Since his accident injury last year, he has been receiving rehabilitation therapy on a regular basis, but it has been difficult for him to be in full shape during the shoots. Following lengthy discussions among the participants, producers, and his agency in the aftermath of the incident, it was determined that he would take some time to care for his body and mind.

Lee Kwang Soo was involved in a traffic crash in February and sustained a fracture in his right ankle. He was having surgery at the time and had to take a break from “Running Man.”
