Ji Soo Confirmed To Depart From ‘River Where The Moon Rises’, Na In Woo In Talks To Replace Ji Soo

Ji Soo will be departing from the “River Where the Moon Rises,” according to KBS.

The actor was involved in several allegations of school violence earlier this week, and he responded on March 4 with a handwritten letter apologizing for his previous actions. The creators of “River Where the Moon Rises” promptly canceled that day’s shoot, but announced that they would hold a meeting to decide how to continue following the uproar since they had already finished 95 percent of the drama’s shooting.

On the morning of March 5, a KBS representative told Star News that they had finally decided that Ji Soo would be leaving the drama.

“Ji Soo, who has recently been the subject of controversy, will be leaving ‘River Where the Moon Rises,’” they announced. “We’re now discussing our next move with the production company.”

Na In Woo’s agency, Cube Entertainment, announced the next morning that the ‘Mr. Queen’ star was in talks to replace Ji Soo. “Na In Woo has received an offer to join ‘River Where the Moon Rises’ in the role of On Dal, and he is currently evaluating the offer,” according to a representative from the agency.
