After so much anticipation and patience, Rose’s solo album is out. There are 2 tracks: On the Ground and Gone. Both songs are heavily English lyrics.
The album R: is literally from her name: Rose.
From her main track, On the Ground: “I worked my whole life, just to get high, just to realize, everything I need is on the ground.” This line from her song is Rose’s favorite line from the song.
Born in New Zealand, Rose won the 700:1 competition and worked her way to become a globally known star: Blackpink. “I could easily match the song to my life. I’ve been on a run since starting off as a trainee….”
