Chanyeol of EXO has joined the military today (March 29).
Before being assigned to a unit and serving as an active duty soldier, Chanyeol would go through four weeks of basic military training. His enlistment date and location were kept secret.
Chanyeol posted a snapshot of himself sporting D.O.’s watch before enlisting. “Goodbye,” he wrote in the caption, along with the hashtag “Kyung Soo’s [D.O.’s] watch.”
“I’ll be back safely,” Chanyeol wrote on EXO’s fan community the day before his enlistment. Don’t be concerned for me.” At a news conference for his film “The Chanyeol of EXO has joined the military today (March 29).
