A exciting preview video that shares insights into the fascinating lead characters was revealed for JTBC’s 10th anniversary special drama “Sisyphus: The Myth”
‘Sisyphus: The Myth’ is a fantasy-mystery drama starring Cho Seung Woo as Han Tae Sool, a brilliant engineer who embarks on a risky quest to bring hidden beings that secretly exist in our planet to light and Park Shin Hye as Kang Seo Hae, his savior, who walked a long and risky path for him.
Han Tae Sool, Cho Seung Woo’s character, is the co-founder of Quantum and Time, a multinational corporation, and he’s a genius engineer who can bring something together and take it apart in an instant. In the trailer, he’s seen surrounded by all sorts of start-of-the-art technologies as he creates something skillfully. Han Tae Sool says, “I don’t know if you’ve heard this before, but the future is already here. It’s just that we can’t recognize it.”
Han Tae Sool is such a skilled and committed problem solver that when a plane crashes from the sky, he even refuses to give up. “His best friend Eddie Kim (Tae In Ho), co-founder of Quantum and Time, tells him, “Not everyone could sacrifice their own lives to save others.” Han Tae Sool answers, “I was just solving everything that was shattered, whether or not everyone dies.
In Han Tae Sool’s life, the valiant warrior Kang Seo Hae then appears, since there are still imperceptible entities hidden in the universe after Han Tae Sool. She has come from a future that has come to an end, and in order to save the world, she has to protect him while he is in danger.
Therefore, she does not hesitate to hop down a staircase and off buildings, fights vigorously against many enemies, and when someone fires a gun at her head, she does not even blink. “Today is not the day of my death,” she said gently to them.
Han Tae Sool tells her, “Whatever happens, just trust me,” both Han Tae Sool and Kang Seo Hae aim to change the future of the past together. Han Tae Sool says, “I’ve got the one that’s got everything messed up. I’ve got to repair it all.”
